    @Fruzion I have to agree. I owned a slider (a Samsung Rant) as a personal phone, and it was a nice phone. But the freezing up, the lack of a good screen and the fact that it was a near-smartphone (a.k.a dumbphone w/better features) meant that things didn't just work. The Bolt Browser was a pain to use on the Rant; it was also hard to use on the WinMo phones my former job provided to me for business. And the WinMo phones, while beautiful because of their flexibility in app use, often just didn't work (unlike my Vista-based laptop which, despite all the hate for Vista, just does the job).

    I've toyed with Android phones; most are just plain ugly (save for anything from HTC that isn't called G1 or Nexus One; they are the bomb in terms of design). The apps are cool, but I don't use many apps save for Bolt, Wordpress and UberTwitter; most of the apps are just toys to me and sort of meaningless (and the key word here, is for me; I greatly appreciate how others are in love with apps). The iPhone always seemed more show pony than workhorse to me (I also hated the lack of cut/copy-and-paste). As for the Pre: Undoubtedly beautiful, but the keyboard just plain sucks; the keys are way to small for even my long, thin piano-player fingers.

    The Curve, which I just got two weeks ago, is the atomic bomb. The design is sexy but not fussy; the keyboard is great for one- or two-hand typing; the screen is neither too big nor too small for my tastes; and the OS works like a business-oriented phone OS is supposed to work. I haven't been this excited about a smartphone ever (and I even considered buying a Pre and an iPhone when each initially came out) — and haven't been as excited about a phone since I got the Rant (which, among the feature phones, remains better than the Rumor/Exclaim crap out there).

    The browser needs work (this is why I have Bolt) and I do wish RIM would allow for apps to embed on the MicroSD instead of the phone (better memory allocation). And I can understand why some would want RIM to push for more app development and redesign the UI (the OS is perfect). But RIM isn't meant for fun. It's for getting things done. Fun is why I own a Flip Mono, an iRiver, an iPod Touch and an XBox 360.

    Bayerische Motoren Werke (BMW) originally started as two separate companies during the 1910's. Gustav Otto's Airplane factory based in Munich, Germany merged with Karl Rapp's factory on March 7,1916 originally forming the Bavarian Airplane Works. BAW specialized in the design and manufacturing of airplane engines. The company mainly produced the V-12 airplane engine. 

    On July 21,1917 under the control of Karl Rapp the company was renamed Bayerishe Motoren Werke (Bavarian Motor Works). Throughout history, BMW's logo has remained the same. The representation of an airplane propeller in the blue sky is now a visual sign of excellence.

    On June 28th 1919, with The Treaty of Versailles put into affect, Germany was forbidden to continue to manufacture airplanes. To supplement for this loss, then BMW designer Max Friz, turned an eye to motorcycle and automobile engines to sustain the company's economic growth. Friz had a vast amount of aeroengineering knowledge and put that to work and within four weeks had what are the now famous blueprints for the ‘Boxer' engine.

    BMW's commitment to excellence is second to none. Building bikes now for over 80 years BMW prides itself on being the best. Fifty percent of all motorcycles ever manufactured by BMW still are on the road today. Over the decades ideas along with bikes changed.

    During the 1980's competitive cross country racing became big for the company. Placing a focus on two major areas the company worked on both the Gelandestrasse boxer series and the K Series due to an influx of Japanese competition.

    During the 1990's BMW continued to perfect the K Series, making improvements and updates along the way.

    Well into the year 2000 and beyond BMW continues to remain innovative, creative, and wanting to provide its rider with the best possible experience.

    Well, the rough news is that a 2006 model costs 459,000 British Pounds
    or about $750,000. And the good news? It will flat out run with just
    about anything on the road or track!

    By the numbers, the Pagani Zonda F is a V12 641 hp mid-engined rear-wheel
    drive that weights about 2,700 lbs. and does 0-60 in a claimed (likely faster)
    3.5 seconds and a claimed (likely faster) 214 mph.

    The Zonda F is constructed of carbon fiber and it looks like pure functional
    automotive art. Think of it as a road legal and every day drivable track car.
    By comparison, the Porsche 996 GT3, which is an icon, was stated to feel
    a bit “muffed.” When an upper level Porsche feels a bit muffed what it is
    being compared to is indeed tremendous!

    Regarding the Zonda F, the testers from EVO – The Thrill of Driving
    Magazine said, “And so with a drum roll provided by art director Paul Lang
    via the medium of his hands and the plastic rear windows of the Megane,
    it is an honor to announce the winner as… the Pagani Zonda F. Here's
    how the praise stacks up. 'A car that can comfortably live up to all the
    hype,' says Metcalfe. 'A supercar you really can drive as if it was an Elise,
    yet which gives you the full-scale Panavision, HD, Technicolor supercar
    experience. A car that melt he heart of the coolest, most stubborn supercar
    critic…' says Barker, before handing over to that very critic in the form
    of Simister, who admits that 'it appears to weigh nothing, it's both visceral
    and forgiving and you feel in total control'. 'Overwhelming, shattering,
    utterly addictive,' concludes Vivian.

    The Pagani Zonda F was compared to a field of 99 other cars to determine

    M5, the Bugatti EB 110, the Porsche 959, the McLaren F1, the Lamborghini
    Diablo 6.0 VT, the Ferrari Enzo, the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Mercedes
    CLK63 Black, the Aston Vantage V12, the Lotus Evors, the Ferrari 288 GTO,
    the Ferrari 550 Maranello, the Ford GT, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, and the
    Ferrari F40.

    Well. I cannot drive a Zonda F and I cannot give you one.

    If you have a Porsche it's because you are aware that it expresses good taste and knowledge of sports cars, RUF have a unique index, as a feature in that perception that sports car lovers have.

    The RUF Auto was established in 1939 by Alois Ruf, becoming the first manufacturer to not depend on the German government since day one. This maker is located in Pfaffenhausen which is a quiet and non industrialized city.

    As part of the growing process and business survival RUF opened a gas station in 1949 to complement his shop, and since 1955 the company has been dedicated to equipping and preparing buses for driving long distances, especially focusing on family tourism.

    Being a big fan of sports cars, Alois Ruf Jr., spent his time restoring Porsche cars during the 60s, becoming a true connoisseur of engineering, technology and design of the house in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen.

    Since 1974 Alois Ruf Jr. took charge of the direction of the company, continuing the philosophy of focusing on the highest quality and constant innovation. Both Alois and his wife have earned the respect and admiration of connoisseurs of sports cars by staying up to date with all the ins and outs of the industry.

    The first car bearing the insignia RUF left the workshop in 1975. Since then, they have been using Porsche cars, and their vehicles have offered real benefits and exceptional equipment. In addition, RUF teaches courses in sports driving management for top performers with customers from the Hockeheimring tracks in Germany, and Salzburgring, in Austria.

    The company took the name RUF Automobile GmbH. On 8 March 2006 and laid the foundation stone of its plant in the Industrial Park in Sakhir, in the area of the Bahrain circuit, and thus becoming the first team to set up a factory in the Arab region.

    The new offerings are the CTR3 and SUV Dakara, in addition to its electric concept, eRUF.

    This car is brand new, not based on any engine design produced before. The body responds to the aerodynamics needed to achieve an outstanding performance at high speed.

    Both the engine and transmission are fixed to the tubular frame and chassis. The body is built of steel, aluminum and a set of Kevlar carbon fiber. The cockpit is protected by a galvanized steel cage for solid protection.

    The model is equipped with an intercooled twin-turbo boxer engine and six-cylinder 3.8-liter displacement, capable of meeting the awesome power of 700 horsepower and 890 Newton-meter.

    In a clear allusion to the tortuous Dakar competition, RUF has named its version of the Porsche Cayenne, RUF Dakara. Its performance and design are absolutely consistent with the concept of high-performance sports SUV.

    Each line, each volume and each piece of Dakara is put together with the principle “form follows function” and that his intimidating presence is not only aesthetic, but the product of his behavior off the charts.

    The eRUF on the other hand, despite of being a car with electric batteries, follows the sporting tradition of the brand. Its transmission is a development of Siemens AG, its brakes are ceramic and weighs only 1.695 kg.

    Its engine produces 270 hp and an amazing torque of 950 Newton-meter, and the lithium GAIA cells provide a range of up to 155 Miles of driving distance.

    Je vais essayer de vous faire Assurances malus un petit point sur le malus.

    Le malus assurance jeune conducteur est un système de calcul qui permet à l’assureur de faire varier le montant de votre cotisation annuelle en fonction du nombre d’accidents déclarés au cours de l’année précédente.
    Ainsi, si vous n’avez pas eu assurance voiturette de sinistres, vous bénéficiez d’une réduction du montant de votre prime annuelle (bonus). En revanche, si vous avez eu un ou plusieurssinistres, le montant de votre facture annuelle sera augmenté (malus).
    Les règles applicables à ce système du Assurance auto malus malus sont déterminées par un arrêté ministériel (annexe de l’article A.121-1 du code des assurances). Elles sont donc les même pour tous en théorie de l'assurance malus.

    Lorsque vous vous assurez, sans bonus ni malus assurance alcool, vous êtes redevable d’une cotisation de base (en fonction des tarifs de votre assureur). C’est la cotisation de référence.
    Puis, une fois par an, l’assureur examine votre situation pour calculer votre cotisation annuelle.  Pour cela, assurance scooter prend en compte tous les accrochages intervenus au cours d’une période d'un an précédant de deux mois l'échéance annuelle du contrat.

    Le bonus et le malus sont calculés avec un coefficient qui est déterminé en fonction de vos antécédents. Au départ, lorsque vous êtes redevable de la cotisation de référence, votre assurance temporaire est de 1. Puis chaque année, en fonction des accrochages intervenus, le coefficient change. Pour déterminer le montant de votre cotisation annuelle annuelle assurance moto malus , il suffit de multiplier le tarif de référence par votre coefficient.


    • En l’absence de sinistres, le coefficient est réduit de 5% par rapport à celui utilisé l’année précédente.
    • Le bonus maximal assurance stupefiants est obtenu après 13 années consécutives sans accident et est plafonné à 50% (soit un coefficient de 0,50).
    • Si vous bénéficiez d’un bonus maxi pendant au moins trois ans, vous conservez ce bonus après le premier accident dont vous êtes responsable. Si vous avez un deuxième sinistre assurance retrait de permis dans les trois années qui suivent, un malus vous sera appliqué.
    • Un malus vous sera appliqué si vous êtes responsable (partiellement ou totalement) d’un accident. Si vous êtes entièrement responsable, le coefficient est majoré de 25%. Si vous êtes partiellement responsable, le coefficient malus est majoré de 12,5%.
    • Le malus maxi est plafonné à 3,5.

    Quelque soit le montant de votre malus, celui-ci disparaît après deux années consécutives sans accident. Le coefficient alors applicable est de 1.

    Tous les sinistres sont pris en compte, sauf :
    les accidents Assurances malus entièrement causés par la faute d’une des victimes et les sinistres où la cause de l’accident est un évènement de force majeure et les degats à votre véhicule a l’arret Assurance jeune conducteur.

    L’appréhension du bonus-malus assurance scooter est très simple d’approche. L'assuré qui n'est pas responsable d'accident bénéficie à l’anniversaire de son contrat d'une réduction de sa prime : c'est le bonus. Cependant, assurance voiture sans permis l'automobiliste qui voit sa responsabilité partiellement ou totalement engagée dans un sinistre va payer son assurance plus cher : c'est le coût du malus Assureur malus

    A l’origine, assurance temporaire vous êtes assuré au tarif classique, autrement dit sans bonus ni malus. C'est la cotisation de référence. Assurances scooter Par la suite, pour calculer votre cotisationprime, seront pris en compte les accidents intervenus pendant la période d'un an précédant de deux mois l'échéance annuelle de l’assurance.

    Si vous ne déclarez pas d’accidents en partie ou totalement responsable assurance jeune durant la période de référence votre prime va diminuer de 5 % par rapport à votre cotisation de l'année précédente. Le bonus maximum est de 50 % de votre prime . Vous le conserverez après le premier accident assurances responsable si vous étiez au bonus maxi depuis au minimum trois ans.
